A study on courses of positive psychological counseling and treatment by analyzing studies on happiness in young children - A Focus on National Journals -

Abstract
This study examined and analyzed previous research on happiness in young children in order to suggest positive psychological treatment courses of increasing happiness in young children. To this end, 22 national academic articles, published up to November 2013 were analyzed along with related variables according to the selection criteria of the study. Variables affecting happiness in young children were classified into internal variables of young children and external environmental variables. Variables affecting environments surrounding young children were classified into parents, peer and educational situation. Most studies showed that personal internal strength, parents, peer and education program had positive correlations with happiness in young children. Based on the above research results, the study suggested implications of program development from a variety of perspectives in order to improve feelings of happiness, which is an important variable for the development process, focusing on young children`s counseling and treatment for positive emotional outcomes.
